Blood Donor List
Sometimes we have patients who are in need of emergent blood transfusions, so we decided to create a Blood Donor List! If you have a dog and/or cat who meets the following requirements and you are willing to receive a phone call when we need a donor, please complete the corresponding form(s). We appreciate you and your service, as do our patients and their families! We do not operate a blood bank - when we are in need of a blood donor we will go through the list and call until we find one who's available. In order to collect the blood we need, donors will be lightly sedated and may end up staying in the clinic for the day or overnight afterward for monitoring. Owners of donors will not be charged for the collection process and will also receive a credit to their account for future use.

Canine blood donor requirements:
Age 1 - 9 years
Over 55 pounds
Never received a blood transfusion themselves
In good general health and up to date on vaccinations
Feline blood donor requirements:
Age 1 - 6 years
Over 8.5 pounds
Never received a blood transfusion themselves
